ABBREUVOIR or ABREVOIR, in Masonry, the Joint, or Joncture of two Stones ; or the Interstice, or Space left between 'em to be fill'd up with Mortar. See STONE, MORTAR, MASONRY, &c.

The Word is French, and literally denotes a Watering-place.
