ARYTENOIDES

ARYTENOIDES,in Anatomy, the third and fourth Cartilages of the Larynx, situated under the Thyroides; called also Cerales. See LARYNX.
The Arytenoides are thus called on account of the Figure of an Ewer; which, together, they somewhat, resemble: From ἀρτεμίς, haurio, to drink, and εἶδος, Forma, Shape.
