ALIQUANT Part, is that which will not measure or divide any Number exactly, but some Remainder will still be left—Or, an Aliquant Part, is that which being taken any Number of times, is always either greater or lesser than the Whole. See PART, MEASURE, &c. A Table of Aliquant Parts of a Pound, see under the Article MULTIPLICATION. Thus, 5 is an Aliquant Part of 12; for being taken twice, it falls short, and when taken three times it exceeds.
